Remember back when I use to post about running? Those were the days before I got pregs. I am seriously DYING to go for a nice long run and can’t wait until I get the a-okay after this little peanut is born to hit the road. I am sort of nervous though about how this pregnancy has changed my body. I have always had no problem just going out for a run, even if I took several months off. But honestly, I have never taken 9 months off before.
I didn’t run much the fist trimester because I was so nauseous all the time and couldn’t bring myself to go for a run. Second trimester I probably could have but didn’t feel like it after not running for a few months. Now I am dying to get out there on the road and run a few miles. Unfortunately I still have a few months before that will be a possibility and by the time I am cleared to run it will be getting cold.
But I just LOVE running in the cold. I just hope I can fit into my running pants by then…
My goal is to sign up for a few fun and challenging races in the late spring and summer so I have something to train for post baby.
